Medicare 101

Joan Mistretta, Medicare Advisor of the Hudson Valley, will present this program on understanding Medicare. This seminar will help seniors understand all the A, B, C,and D's of Medicare. This will include:

  • how to enroll in Medicare and when you need to enroll 
  • what is original Medicare 
  • what are Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare Supplemental Plans 
  • what are the differences between the two plans 

Joan will also review the cost sharing and benefits that are associated with each letter (Part A, Part B, etc.) of Medicare, so that seniors will have a better understanding of their benefits and how to utilize them.
