Anita is a German Shepherd registered with Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Children ages 5 and old can register for a 1-on-1 visit with Anita to practice their reading to this furry and non-judgemental listener!

Appointments take place in our Children's Area (not a private room). Children may bring a book from home or borrow one from our shelves. Parents stay nearby but do not participate (child must do the reading).
